Festival of children who read
Twelfth edition of the literature festival dedicated to the public of adolescents and “young adults”. Three days of meetings with Italian and foreign authors most loved by young people, workshops and shows. Mare di Libri is an event dedicated to cultural entertainment, a meeting place for all children who love books and reading and who want to meet authors and other peers who share their passions. Sea of Books organizes and promotes Ciak, we read! (IX edition), the first booktrailer competition on a national scale reserved for children. The book trailer is a short video presentation that promotes a book, like a trailer promotes a film. It is designed to entice the public to read a particular novel and generally provides the viewer with a taste of history. The contestants will choose one of the unpublished novels and will have to make a video of a maximum duration of 3 minutes. The winning booktrailer will be screened at the Festival Mare di Libri 2019, will receive a rich prize in books and will be uploaded to the Mare YouTube channel of Books.
